SOLD IN 2016!

Our quad bike based (aka All Terrain Vehicle (ATV)) semi-autonomous mobile robot is similar to our Scotty robot. However can provide more heavy duty purposes such as proof of concepts for autonomous personal transport vehicle, autonomous mapping, or getting equipment to required areas without the need for a driver!

The semi-autonomous behaviour is based on using a tightly coupled GPS and IMU for localisation, to allow for GPS waypoint based navigation within a user defined map.

Ad-hoc custom solutions have been used to control the steering (via large maxon motor + gearbox + encoder + pneumatic disc break) and throttle (via RC servo).

The photo shown is from 2011, when Freelance Robotics hired it for the Brisbane Mechanical and Safety Expo.

Quadbike Robot Development for Cundletown – Selected Client Testimonials

This is a sample of public feedback from a broader range of client work.

Intuitive, innovative & efficient are three words that would appropriately describe the COLETEK service. Luke and the team at COLETEK have taken our concepts to the next level.

COLETEK have provided one to one communication throughout the development process and gone above and beyond in bringing our ideas closer to becoming a reality! Luke's expertise and knowledge with computer software and electronics is Jedi like, but what I liked most about working with him was his willingness and ability to think outside of the box.
